About Our Building Supplies Division
We first introduced the Building Supplies Division when we opened our East Midlands depot and when we relocated our Head Office to new, larger premises in Banbury, Oxfordshire we developed this product range to accompany our extensive range of Civil Engineering products. We now have a centre of excellence for our Building Supplies Division throughout our network of branches, to the extent that every UGS branch now stocks and distributes a wide range of building products and from bricks and blocks through to screws, paint, and power tools. We service the needs of a diverse range of customers in the building trade throughout the UK, a range of customers from large housing contractors such as Taylor Woodrow(New Housing Developments) through to a vast amount of smaller property developers and self build schemes. Each UGS branch is staffed with technical sales people who have excellent product knowledge on our full ranges of building materials.
  Case Study
Baggaley & Jenkins Ltd
Centre Parcs, Sherwood Forest

We recently supplied all the materials for a large project for Centre Parcs in Sherwood Forest . Right from the initial stage we provided a full take off of products from the scheduled plans and architects specifications. We soon provided Baggaley & Jenkins with a full product list, offering the most cost effective products along with a full layout of quantities necessary for the entire project. Using our Quan timate computer software we were able to provide a full list of products and quantities required for the construction of this project. James Ward, one of the Directors of Baggaley & Jenkins, commented on the project, "UGS were extremely helpful from stage one of this project", He added "UGS guided us through every step of this entire project, assisting with their cost saving techniques and product knowledge. We will definitely continue to use their expertise and technical advice for further developments".
